Fox Atomic Comics makes an auspicious jump into the Graphic Novel arena with 28 DAYS LATER: THE AFTERMATH, a gorgeous full-color prequel/follow-up to Danny Boyle's zombie epic 28 DAYS LATER, which also serves as a prequel to 28 WEEKS LATER. If only they had charged $10.00 more for this book, you would have gone home from the store 28 bucks later.......

A prequel volume.
Here you get to see how the Rage virus came into being as the result of an experiment into something heading in almost completely the opposite direction.
There are multiple different short stories here that overlap and intersect at time, at some of the early victims - one faiily in picture that was just out for a picnic on the mother's birthday, for example. Another of a lone man deciding one city is his, and that he will go all Omega Man.

I hope these books continue, they would be great movies. Lots more to the 28 Days Later legacy.

I should preface this brief review by saying I am not particularly interested in graphic novels as such. I don't usually read them. I don't collect them. I went through 28 Days Later: The Aftermath to see if the graphic novel fleshed out the film story line any. It did on several points. I don't think I can relate any of those points without spoiling it for others, however. It only takes a matter of minutes to go through the book of 105 pages.
