We had this text for a second year Physical Geography course at UAF. It was a great text. Easy to read, yet very complete. It certainly covers the basics: bio-litho-hydo and atmo.. spheres, and their inter-relationships. It does this in a very readable and engaging manner. If you are looking for a course book, I highly recommend it.
