158 pages of aliens, kid inventors, talking pirate rats, faraway castles, and one beastly beast are broken up into four easily palatable short length stories. Brian Biggs' thick-lined, simple, entertaining illustrations intermittently fill the pages just enough but never overwhelm, leaving the bulk of the visuals to develop in the womb of the imagination.
