As someone abandoned by the demise of FrontPage, I needed an easy way to work on simple web pages. Since several others I work with use GoLive, I gave it a try. Since it is SO much more powerful that FP, I needed help. This book is a very comprehensive tour of the program, walking you through and familiarizing you with all of its extensive capabilities. The lesson files on the included CD are very good and definitely helpful.

Kudos to Adam Pratt and Lynn Grillo for a really great book. The tips format works because it is concise and to the point, telling me what I need to know very quickly and clearly. The book covers everything major and also the little things that make your life much easier while you work. I love this book and keep it next to me when I work.

It's hard to find books on learning GoLive. The native Help files are just fine, but I like having a book next to me. After reading the reviews here, I assumed Tips and Tricks was too advanced and Classroom in a Book would be the one I'd need. However, as a rank novice, I have no experience creating frames, and Classroom barely mentioned them. Lo and behold, Tips and Tricks has three pages of succinct and understandable information.
