I love books like this. Jam-packed with facts, including sometimes little known facts. Sports trivia catches my attention. . . .

The ESPN Sports Almanac exemplifies the genre.

It begins with a look at the past year in sports. My favorite section in this part of the book is "Extra Points," weird things that happened.
