Editorial Review:
Product DescriptionObject-Oriented COBOL will soon be available to replace earlier COBOL programs. This is the book to help traditional COBOL programmers make the transition to Object-Oriented COBOL. The author starts with simple programs and works up to complex problems, teaching the changes in a comparative style, so that COBOL programmers will have an easier time making the switch.

As a practicing COBOL programmer in the accounting systems arena, I found this book to be utterly useless. It's written in a dry, academic style, and the examples are excruciatingly dull. A waste of time and money.
