Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Urgent Longings

have had my edition for years and i refer to it every few years ... says it all about love and infatuation in just a few pages ... lovely book ... this book remains as pertinent and all inclusive as the day i got it 15 years ago ... poetic reading of a universal dynamic (love , infatuation and intimacy) ... right on stuff ... john

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - This book is worth 5 times the money!
I read all 97 pages almost straight through. This book shed lots of light on a personal whirlwind I was on of what I could only describe as an Infatuation with someone. Every page "had my picture on it" and eased my confusion and frustration greatly. Easily worth every cent.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Keen insight into the nature of both love and infatuation.
Infatuation has a bad name in our culture, which tends to view it as counterfeit, inauthentic. Thomas Tyrell corrects this misperception, helping the reader to validate infatuation and to understand its importance in the process of loving. The author's background in religion and psychology gives a rich, resonant tone to this small volume. A valuable asset to counselors and to all those who wish to explore the subject of love and infatuation. . .
