For a beginner in Delphi this book is great! It shows some great examples that can actually be used in real world. Most are not covered by other publications. I have been programming in Delphi for 3 Years and I still go back and take a look at it from time to time.

Delphi Programming for Dummies is excellent. The book is structured very clearly. The reader is introduced to Delphi very carefully and smoothly. When no technical words are necessary, none are used. The language used is very natural and sometimes even funny. This makes this book actually pleasant to read.
