Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Good idea, but not in my store
The Shopper's guide seems to be a pretty comprehensive list of glycemic values, the problem is that almost none of the products listed are ones sold in my local grocery stores. I am wondering if the list is of Canadian brands since that is where the glycemic index diet first took hold. I plan to try to look for another similar book with brands that are available here.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great shoppers guide
A handy book to take shopping with you - very informative and helpful. Wish I had had this book sooner.

True of the loaf they tested but I found Rye bread in the stores whose primary ingredient was good ol' enriched wheat flour and, in one case, less rye flour than caraway seeds! (I ...
