I am very satisfied with this book. I always have a hard time following a good diet and wondering whats going on with my body while on some diets. But with this diet it is so easy to follow and adjust to. I started reading this book just last month and I combined exercise with it and I have lost 10 pounds. I really recomend this book. This book is an excellent one for understanding how and what to eat. For those of us who may have grown up in families where it was always meat and potatoes until full, with an occasional soggy veg thrown in, this book is great at helping you learn what it means to eat in a healthy way that allows you to be full and lose weight if you need to. What recommended this book to me was that the authors were pioneers in the concept of the glycemic index. I knew intuitively that this concept mattered, but till recently all I knew was too many carbs were bad. But this is one of the books that corrects that notion to say that what matters is how directly a carbohydrate enters the bloodstream.
