Product Description“The Resurrection of Samuel Clemens” tells the story of Samuel Langhorne Clemens (Mark Twain) as he is resurrected back to life in the year 2061. Grant Wakeman welcomes Mr. Clemens into a world wherein almost everything has drastically changed: the ‘unholy trinity’ of corrupt politics, hypocritical religion, and greedy commerce has been eradicated. Politically, there is one world government. As to religion, there is no longer a professional clergy class. On the economic front, cooperation has superseded competition. On a personal level, Sam is reunited with his relatives and friends.

Rating: - The Author Speaks
My futuristic, optimistic novel should be appealing to anyone who wonders what life could be like if there were no more war, poverty, disease, or death, and where a reunification of people with their (formerly) dead loved ones is possible.
Additionally, serious Twain fans (Twainiacs) should find the book interesting, as countless references to Twain's life and times, as well as allusions (in addition to numerous direct quotations) to his writings are made throughout.
