I lost all interest in the Devil's Due's G.I. Joe stories when they started killing off all the fan favorite characters. Sure people die in wars, but lets leave that to reality. When I read a comic I want to feel like there is a chance good might win in the end and a hero can't be held back. The writers did a good job of killing off my childhood heroes and turning the great G.I. Joe story started by Larry Hama into something darker and uninspiring.
