This is not the first book you will pick up to ID a bird. The illustrations in Peterson's or Sibley's are better. This book is about the birds we see every day in Florida. The written text is excellent giving you the what when where and how of the bird. It will guide you if you are searching for a new bird or just want to know everything about the bird.
