Rating: - classic comp
This is one of the best house music compilations from one of dance music's more creative periods in 1993 and one of its most consistantly outstanding labels, Guerilla Records. Hardly a filler track. This US edition features Vol 1 and 2 together making it great value. If you appreciate funky dubbed house tracks with melodies and 'intoxicating' rhythm tracks then listen to this. Rating: - Classic!
This is only the second techno compilation I ever listened to and it has remained one of my favorites for all these years. There are so many good tracks and both discs are equally strong. React 2 Rhythm's "I Know You Like It" became my favorite techno song ever when I heard it, but the strongest track on this compilation is probably Dr. Atomic's "Schudelfloss", a more downbeat, ambient tune. Techno reached new heights of popularity in '93, and this album showcases why. Highly recommended.
Rating: - Excellent CD! Great beats and samples
Slow songs, and upbeat songs. Great CD to sit back in a dark room with a disco ball or lava lamp and just think....
