This book has become a family joke because I brought it to my mother in the fourth grade and she hated it. It's basically a very repetitive book detailing the inner workings of a department store. It's meant for children or perhaps foreigners who have no idea how a department store works. It has very little relevence in today's world because it was written in the 1960s and department stores have changed quite a bit since then.
