I didn't get these for the awesome gold box price of $59, I paid nearly twice that. However, I must say that they were a value even at the higher price. I had been using a similarly priced set, different brand, for approximately 10 years. When I received these, I was amazed at how much difference a well designed, sharp knife can make.

I bought these for $59.00 here on amazon and they are so good. The chefs knife cut thru raw steak like butter and the santoku knife is really great. These are better than the Rahcel Ray knifes I have bought in the past. If you want a set of knife that are sharp but cheap this is the set for you!!

These knives are super sharp. They cut through celery like butter. They seem very durable and I love that the knife sharpener is built into the storage block. How handy! They look nice sitting on the counter too!

Great set of knives that seem to be of good quality. Found the same set at Khol's on sale for $179.00 without the bonus Mezzaluna and Cheese Knife Trio. The only issue is the box was delivered w/o the $85 coupon for Omaha Steaks. Called amazon and was told I had to speak directly with Chicago Cutlery to get the coupon. This is very discouraging! Very nice set of knives for the money. Sharp and ready to use right out of the box. Forget about the Omaha Steaks gift certificate though nothing with the shipment and nothing telling you how to get one.
