Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Excellent product
this book is a complete review for microsoft clustering. it's excellent for IT professionals

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Great for Beginners
I did like the book I is a great book which want to start learning how Clusters work and how to implement them. It is very practical oriented and it contains step by step instructions how to build failover clusters and NLB clusters.

The only downer about is the book is the fact there are several chapters in the book about Windows about Windows 2000 Clustering which I did not care about but you can easily skip reading them.

The book might be nothing for Cluster Experts ... Read More

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - A little light
This is a very light treatment of Server 2003 clustering. It is poorly organized (there's not even an entry in the index for "Quorum"!), and spends too much time on NT and Win2K (though the title says 2003). Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - The worst book I have ever read about Windows clustering
This is nothing more than a rehash of clustering in windows2000. A waste of time

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - a 400 page introduction
I guess I'm in the minority here, but I found this book to be completely useless. I was tasked to build a new windows 2003 file and print cluster, so I bought this book to read up on how it was done. All I got out of it (and yes I read it all the way, except for the load balancing parts) was that the author knew alot about technologies, and that there were alot of things to check on when setting up the cluster. Thing is, the book never got detailed on how to do anything. After reading through it ... Read More
