I enjoyed this book very much. After spending many hours researching my Scots-Irish ancesters and reading several books about their plight in helping to settle this country, it was very interesting to read about the parts played by the Women of the Frontier. The Socts-Irish women played a much bigger part in that settlement than most of us realize. I have now read several of Billy Kennedy's books about the Scots-Irish migration into and within this country. All of his books have been very well ... Read More
