Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Captivate 3 Essentials
The title says it all. This book helped make me a Captivate fan but also a Kevin A. Siegel fan.

The book quickly walks you through the essential skills that you will need to create effective e-learning.

I am new to e-learning and I am new to Captivate. This was the first book on the market for Captivate 3. I was looking for a replacement for Authorware. I discovered Captivate 3 had just been released and I need a book that would get me upto speed fast. I found out about ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great Product!
The Essentials of Adobe Captivate 3 delivered as advertised. Gave me a great overview of this product's capabilities. Instructions were clear, accurate and concise with good sample files. The "Skills and Drills" format was helpful for learning a new application. With practice, it is a good foundation for more in-depth learning.

I would recommend Iconlogic to anyone who wants to get familiar with the various applications that Iconlogic provides products for.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Finally! I Can Use Adobe Captivate 3
The Essentials of Adobe Captivate 3 is a great book for anyone that needs a little help getting on the right start with using Adobe Captivate. The book is made in a spiral bound format making it very simple and easy to use while sitting at your computer. The great part about the book is that the index is very well written making it simple to quickly reference a part of Captivate you need help with.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - This is the book you want...
As a new user of Captivate 3, I reviewed all of the books and decided on this one. It has been very useful and given me many ideas to use in my own projects. I will be purchasing the other manual (script writing) when it comes back in-stock. I am not usually compelled to write a review for books, but this one is an exception. The book and CD follow perfectly and are quite relevant to the beginner. Nice work!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great for self-directed, self-paced learning
It's just what the title says - The Essentials. The instructions are easy to follow, concise; but comprehensive. After stepping through the lessons in this book, I'd choose this book for great self-directed, self-paced learning and reference over taking a course. A very user-friendly book, easy to digest quickly. Thank-you, Kevin A. Siegel.
