Books Adobe GoLive CS Tips and Tricks

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Both new and old users of GoLive can learn something
It might be easy to dismiss this book as simply a tips and tricks book without any real depth if you just have a quick look at it, but it is much more than that. This book explains in images and short and clear texts how to do something, points at easy to miss buttons and explains what to do with them, and fills in your knowledgegaps about GoLive. It also adds understanding to what GoLive can do and how to do it. The texts might look short, but together with the images they are quite enough to give you that aha-experience of understanding. I've used GoLive since it was GoLive Cyber Studio 2, long before Adobe bought it, and today use GoLive CS. I've used GoLive daily for years. I've really enjoyed this book and learned a lot of new things that I didn't know before or have missed somehow over the years just because I've used GoLive for such a long time. I warmly recommend it to both new and old users. It has something for both the novice and the more experienced user. Buy it! Read it! GoLive will be all that more fun to work with after having gone through this book.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Excellent Book
I just got the book and found it to be just what I needed. The authors did a great job. The book is an easy read and has a multitude of good tips!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Excellent book and very reasonably priced.
Full of good ideas (much beyond what the "Tips and Tricks" wording in the title might suggest). Well written. Well organized. Why Adobe cannot manage to user guides that are remotely as helpful as this book is, we will likely never know. In any case, this book is very complementary to the Adobe GoLive CS User Guide.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - GoLive quickly with this book!
I'm new to GoLive and web production, so needed more help than the program's help system could give. This is the first GoLive book I've worked with, and it's excellent. Easy to understand and use. Between it and the help system, I created my first CSS template-based website (actually my first website), over a weekend, which I wasn't able to do before, without the book.

The book is organized the same way you'd create a website, which is helpful when you don't know exactly what step you should do next. You can read it from front to back for an overview of how to use GoLive to create your site, or use the index for specific topics. I did a combination of both, and finally understand how to work with GoLive.

Have no fear, you'll learn lots from this book. And on top of everything else, the price is right!
