Books The New Glucose Revolution: The Authoritative Guide to the Glycemic Index - the Dietary Solution for Lifelong Health (Glucose Revolution)

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Highly informative
This book has a wealth of information regarding the glycemic index and glycemic load. It takes a bit of intense reading to understand it all but it is a good reference book to learn healthy eating habits for those who are diabetic or wanting to watch their sugar intake. I think the recipes are varied and easy to follow and would recommend this book to all.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - The New Glucose Revolution- POSITIVE!!!
I believe this to be an excellant book for myself.
It compares sugars and others in relation to it, in comparing to carbohydrate intake along with many other types of food intake.
I have used it daily to help calculate all of my food intake. It is really a good book to use in that way.
I am a type 1 diabetic and found it to be helpful in many ways. Actually too many ways to write them all down here for my review. For any diabetic or other healthy non-chronic health related people it has MANY good uses.
Since reading it, I have found it to be a wonderful resouce book when I need it at any time. Now and in the future.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - The New Glucose Revolution
The concept for the book sems to be well founded. Many scientific authorities are quoted and identified. The content is very interesting and well presented. It is filled with very useful information beneficial to the population as a whole, and those wishing to eat a more healthful diet in particular. For those with diabetes it is an improved idea for glucose control. For those wishing to lose weight it offers a practical approach to losing and then keeping off the excesss, while maintaining a healthy, enjoyable diet. Recipes and full meal plans are thankfully included, as well as listing of recommended foods. I call it very good.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Excellent, Informative Book
I found this book to be very well written, informative and useful. It covers everything you need to know about the glycemic index and the information is based on current, valid research. I'd recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn about the glycemic index and how to incorporate it into their food plan.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - For Diabetics and pre-diabetics
Seth has borderline high blood sugar. We love to eat and eat almost everything. With this book, we can make more intelligent decisions about what to eat. It's easy to use and so far we have found every food we looked up. We're extremely happy with this purchase.
